Snowpiercer, the sci-fi hit series on TNT, will return for a fourth season, and here’s everything we know about what’s coming up. Jennifer Connelly’s Melanie Cavill (Jennifer Connelly) made her triumphant return to Snowpiercer season 3 after being presumed dead at the end of season 2. An incredible twist occurred when Melanie turned on Andre Layton (Daveed Diggs) and sabotaged his plan is to bring the subway to New Eden inside the African continent, which is believed to be a warm spot on the frozen Earth where they can settle, in order to save her own life.

Snowpiercer Season 4 New Showrunner Adds Clerk
Even as Snowpiercer’s third season comes to a close, the dystopian series is already looking ahead to season four and has added Marvel actor Clark Gregg and Tony Award winner Michael Aronov to its cast. It also has a new showrunner, Paul Zbyszewski, who has previous experience with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, having worked on shows such as Agents of SHIELD, Helstrom, and Lost.
“I’m extremely grateful to everyone at TNT and Tomorrow Studios for allowing me to become a part of the captivating world of Snowpiercer that Graeme and Aubrey have so meticulously crafted and built,” Zbyszewski said in a press release. “I’m extremely grateful to everyone at TNT and Tomorrow Studios for allowing me to join the riveting world of Snowpiercer that Graeme and Aubrey have so meticulously crafted and built.” I’m looking forward to being on set with such an incredible cast and crew as we continue to explore new worlds, solve new mysteries, and develop character relationships for the upcoming fourth season.
Snowpiercer is a television series based on the film Snowpiercer, directed by Bong Joon-Ho (Parasite), which was in turn based on a French graphic novel. When a climate catastrophe forces the only survivors on Earth to board a single train, the story begins, and it explores the social stratification of class throughout the train. In many ways, this setup is similar to that of larger space opera films, particularly those that have arcs or are entirely contained on a single ship: the near-future doomsday becomes a reality, the great planetary escape, the struggles to establish a society in a new setting. Snowpiercer’s struggles become much more immediate and real when he is firmly planted on the ground of Earth. Hopefully, the next season will be able to keep the stakes high and the thriller atmosphere alive.
In light of Gregg’s addition to Snowpiercer’s fourth season, I’m left to wonder where all of the new cast members have come from. While I understand that the train has 1,001 cars, and that the story has developed somewhat over the course of the show’s run, there can’t possibly be that many hiding places on a train, can there? Who knows what will happen! Even so, tonight’s season three finale, which stars Daveed Diggs, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGUinness, Rowan Blanchard, Roberto Urbina, and Jennifer Connelly, may contain a clue hidden somewhere in the back of the engine room.
Snowpiercer Season 4 Expected Cast
It is expected that the majority of the Snowpiercer season 3 cast will return for season 4, which will include Jennifer Connelly, who was absent for the majority of seasons 2 and 3. A list of the cast members includes Daveed Diggs, Alison Wright, Rowan Blanchard, Iddo Goldberg; Lena Hall; Mickey Sumner; Sam Otto; Shiela Vand; Mike O’Malley; Roberto Urbina; Jaylin Fletcher However, following the events of Snowpiercer season 3’s finale, it’s unclear what will happen to Sean Bean’s Mr. Wilford and whether or not he’ll be back in the series for season 4. Archie Panjabi, Annalise Basso, and Steven Ogg were among the many other cast members who left Snowpiercer after season three ended. However, while anything is possible in Snowpiercer, it is highly unlikely that their characters will return. Snowpiercer season 4 will feature two new actors, Michael Aronov of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Clark Gregg of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Snowpiercer Season 4 Plot
Snowpiercer’s paradigm is constantly shifting, and by the end of season 3, it has completely shifted once more, with half of the train’s passengers following Andre Layton to New Eden and the other half remaining aboard Snowpiercer under Melanie Cavill’s supervision. Mr. Wilford has vanished from Snowpiercer, and it is unclear what has happened to him. Meanwhile, the final scene of Snowpiercer season 3 time-jumped three months to show Melanie witnessing a missile launch into the atmosphere, which could indicate that there is yet another previously unknown pocket of human survivors in the world. At this point, it is impossible to predict what this will mean for Snowpiercer in season 4.
