Disney’s “Strange World” is coming to India

In November, Disney will release the more movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Dennis Quaid. 

On November 25th, the English version release of Strange World was confirmed by Disney India.

Earlier reports from September indicated that the film will also be shown in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. On the other hand, it seems that the studio has no plans to release a dubbed version of the picture, at least not in theaters. On November 23 in the United States, the movie will open in theaters.

The video follows the Clade family as they traverse a hazardous and uncharted area with a motley crew that includes a naughty blob, a three-legged dog, and a slew of ravenous beasts. 

Jake Gyllenhaal provides his voice as Searcher Clade and a family man thrust into an uncharted quest. Searcher’s father, Jaeger, is a legendary adventurer played by Dennis Quaid. Ethan, Searcher’s 16-year-old son, is played by Jaboukie Young-White.


At the same time, the rest of the cast includes Gabrielle Union as Meridian Clade, a skilled pilot and Searcher’s constant companion, and Lucy Liu as Callisto Mal, the courageous leader of Avalonia who leads the expedition into the mysterious realm.

Don Hall, whose previous works include Big Hero 6 and Raya and the Last Dragon, is at the helm of Strange World, along with co-director/writer Qui Nguyen, who also worked with Hall on Raya and the Last Dragon. Filmmaker Roy Conli, who previously contributed to Big Hero 6 and Tangled, is behind this project.
