‘Detective Knight: Redemption’ trailer with Bruce Willis

The trailer for Bruce Willis’s second installment in his thriller trilogy, Detective Knight: Redemption, was released exclusively by Lions Gate.


Before the end of the year, Willis declared his retirement from acting due to the effects of an aphasia diagnosis. ‘The Detective Knight’ flicks more than just a thrilling trilogy; they’re also the actor’s sad departure.

Death on Halloween Night pursued by a Knight

After the previous film’s events, Detective Knight (Willis) is taken to jail, as shown in the new trailer. A bunch of bank robbers responsible for Knight’s partner’s death on Halloween night are pursued by Knight in Detective Knight: Rogue. Knight shoots the man planning the bank heists and is prompt in imprisoning the murder. Thanks to a prison revolt, Willis can reclaim his badge in Detective Knight: Redemption.

”Christmas Bimber”,

The teaser reveals that a ruthless criminal known only as “The Christmas Bomber” is at the head of the riot, inspiring his followers to spread havoc throughout the city on Christmas Eve. The police are preoccupied with the rising crime rate outside the jail, so they need a guy inside to quell the insurrection.

In other words, if Knight wants to be pardoned, he needs to get into the holiday spirit by hunting down some wicked guys. Seeing Willis shoot down bad dudes on Christmas Eve is, to put it mildly, exhilarating.

After all, Christmas features prominently in one of his favorite films, Die Hard. Detective Knight: Redemption promises to offer fans a fitting send-off for Willis, and it makes the news of his retirement all the more bittersweet.

Edward Drake helms and co-wrote the screenplay for Detective Knight: Redemption from a tale by Corey Large. All three films in the trilogy were shot simultaneously under the pair’s direction. Starring in Redemption is Lochlyn Munro, Corey Large, Miranda Edwards, Beau Mirchoff, and Paul Johansson. 

In what timeframe are the Detective Knight movies available to you? 

Detective Knight: Independence, the last chapter, will take place on Independence Day, in contrast to Rogue, which takes place on Halloween, and Redemption, which takes place on Christmas. So, in July 2023, we may expect to see Willis’ final film. On December 9, you can watch Detective Knight: Redemption in cinemas, on demand, and digitally. Release dates for the DVD and Blu-ray versions of the film are set for January 17.
