Oh deer: Bambi becomes ‘killing machine’ in horror movie; All you need to know

Bambi: The Reckoning was announced as if Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey wasn’t enough to damage our childhoods thoroughly.

ITN Studios and Jagged Edge Productions have partnered up, as reported by Dread Central, to tackle the cute deer who loses his mother to cruel hunters.

We can presume that the film will involve Bambi seeking vengeance against those responsible for his mother’s murder, despite the lack of storyline information.

Scott Jeffrey, whose filmography includes Kingdom of the Dinosaurs, Exorcist Vengeance, and Spider from the Attic, will direct the picture alongside Rhys Frake-Waterfield, who helmed Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey.

Jeffrey stated, “The film will be an extremely dark rendition of the 1928 narrative that we all know and adore. Taking design cues from Netflix’s The Ritual, Bambi will be a ferocious murdering machine that hides in the countryside. Get ready for Bambi with rabies!”

There is currently no release date for Bambi: The Reckoning, although the film is scheduled to begin production in January 2023.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey will only be available for one day in the United States on February 15, 2023. A UK release date has yet to be determined.

Christopher Robin, Winnie the Pooh’s best friend, was introduced for the first time in the film, although Pooh and Piglet do not appear delighted to see him.

“We were once friends; why are you acting in this manner? I swear I would have never gone. “Christopher is seen appealing to Pooh and Piglet, who have turned wild and nasty after years of neglect.”

With these uplifting moments in Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, we cannot wait for Bambi: The Reckoning!
