There has yet to be an official confirmation about season 5 of Haikyuu. 

The hit Japanese anime series, Haikyuu, has been a fan favorite since its first season in 2014. Fans have been anxiously awaiting news about the fifth season of Haikyuu and whether or not it will be released. Unfortunately, no official confirmation about season 5 of Haikyu from either manga publisher Shueisha or animation studio Production I.G has been confirmed. 

Haikyuu Season 4 aired in January 2020 and ended with a cliffhanger, leaving fans eager for more episodes to find out what happens next.

Haikyuu Season 5 Release Date

Season 5 of Haikyuu has yet to receive an official release date announcement.

The launch of Season 5 of Haikyuu was initially scheduled for Spring to Summer 2021. The coronavirus epidemic delayed Season 4’s production schedule, delaying its release dates.

In August 2022, a Haikyuu!! The event revealed that the anime series would conclude with two films. The series, titled Haikyuu!! Finally, I will continue the anime’s events and act as the anime’s ending. A premiere event will take place in August 2023, and the expected release date for the first picture is late 2023.

Shouyou Hinata resurrects his middle school’s volleyball club after being inspired by a “Little Giant”-dubbed volleyball prodigy. Even though the newly-formed team makes it to a competition, their first match is their last, as they are mercilessly defeated by “King of the Court” Tobio Kageyama. After graduating from middle school, Hinata joins the volleyball team at Karasuno High School, only to discover that his sworn adversary, Kageyama, is now his teammate.

Hinata needs help finding his place on the team despite his exceptional jumping ability due to his diminutive stature. Surprisingly, Kageyama has difficulties that only Hinata can solve, and the only way for the team to be successful is to learn to work together.
