Idina Menzel’s “Love Power,” featured in the next Disney film Disenchanted, has finally been made public. The film is the long-awaited sequel to Enchanted, released in 2007, and stars Amy Adams as Giselle, a young woman who dreams of being a princess but whose life is flipped upside down when she finds herself in modern-day New York City.
Disenchanted, which takes place a few years after the previous film’s events, will premiere this weekend as a Disney+ original feature. Giselle, disappointed by her existence, desires a fairytale, unwittingly placing a curse on herself and others she cares about.

The new Walt Disney Studios video provides fans a preview of “Love Power,” one of Menzel’s two prominent musical numbers in the sequel Disenchanted. The clip features Menzel as Nancy performing with Morgan Philip as Giselle’s stepdaughter and clips from the future film.
The two seemed transported to Andalusia as the song crescendos and lovely memories whirl around them. Fans of Menzel have grown to expect that she will provide the kind of vocal perfection they hear in this “fairy godmother” scene.
