Based on Rick Riordan’s famous novels. Percy Jackson is accused of stealing Zeus’ lightning bolt, which awakens his celestial abilities. Percy (Wade Scobell) must go with Grover (Aryan Simhadri) and Annabeth (Liv Tyler) to restore peace on Mount Olympus (Leah Sava Jeffries).
Hades is an eccentric genius. He resents past wrongs. After being tossed down Mount Olympus, Hephaestus was disabled. He’s powerful, caring, and forgiving despite the Gods’ turmoil.
Jay Duplass is in Transparent, Search Party, and The Mindy Project. He’s in HBO’s Industry’s third season. Duplass directed Cyrus, Jeff, and Baghead.
In the critically acclaimed USA Network sitcom Psych, Timothy Omundson is most recognised for his role as Carlton Lassiter. Shows like “Judging Amy” and “Galavant” are examples of his previous work. Omundson has recently been seen on This Is Us, American Housewife, and New Amsterdam.
Megan Mullally plays Mrs. Dodds, Glynn Turman is the centaur Chiron, and Virginia Kull is Percy’s mom in Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
James Bobin directed the pilot. Vancouver-produced show has no premiere date.
Riordan’s involvement can give the novel justice. Rick Riordan’s website has behind-the-scenes information. This happened at Anaheim’s D23 Expo. During this premiere, the first Percy Jackson and the Olympians teaser trailer was unveiled, showing Percy’s adventures and a familiar warning.
