Polo G, a rapper, was arrested on allegations of battery on a police officer, resisting arrest with violence, and criminal mischief.

According to jail records, Taurus Bartlett was booked into jail early Saturday on five charges and freed on bond hours later.

According to arrest papers published by the Miami Police Department, authorities pulled over Bartlett, 22, and others early Saturday, and the rapper ended up in a battle on the ground with authorities. According to Michael Vega, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department, the department is also investigating various threats made against staff and facilities in response to the rapper’s detention.
