Camila Cabello opens up on the inspiration behind her new album Familia


Camila Cabello recently announced that she is releasing a new album called “Familia.” She also shared a single called “Don’t Go Yet” and It’s her first new music since 2019’s “Romance.”

The “Havana” singer recently gave a virtual interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music and shared a snippet of her interview on her Instagram page. Camilla shared the inspiration behind her album “Familia”!

Cabello shared, “The name of my album is ‘Familia’, and… and I think, I was like really manifesting, I was really inspired by when I saw C Tangana’s tiny desk, shoutout to C Tangana I’m a huge fan of his. And like in the tiny desk, he is basically doing the tiny desk at his dinner table and he’s got people around him, and there’s like half-eaten food around the table and I was so inspired by that and like that’s the life I’m tryna have, for me it is really not about success, obviously if you win with your friends, that incredible, but I think like its really become like that kinda life for me.”

She also talked and revealed about her new track “Don’t Go Yet” on Apple Music, “And I think ‘Don’t Go Yet’ is just I think sonically and melodically, just me being free. I think being in Miami for so long and having more family around me and speaking Spanish more made me feel, I don’t know, just kind of brought me back. I think my roots went deeper in a way that I really needed. And I think this album for me was a manifestation. The name of my album is ‘Familia’.”
