On November 20, 2018, Jason David Frank, best known as Tommy Oliver on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, passed away.
This Jason David Frank news has me shook. I don't even know what to say. I hope its NOT true and just misinformation or something.
Out of respect for the family, I deleted it until a news company confirms it.
I was just in shock, and still am.

In the 1990s, Jason David Frank, better known by his initials, JDF, became a household name as the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger. Later in the series run, he played the Black Ranger as a mentor, and in a spinoff, Power Rangers Dino Thunder, reprised his role as a White Ranger.
His character’s fame lasted through a wide variety of media, including a pivotal role in the BOOM! Studios comic series. Lord Drakkon is an evil reimagining of Tommy, developed by Kyle Higgins. Tommy was the main character in the Power Rangers 25th anniversary particular Dimensions in Danger, which aired during the Power Rangers Ninja Steel season.
Even after that, he continued to work with Bat in the Sun, this time as Tommy Oliver in their Super Hero Beat Down series of shorts, and the feature Legend of the White Dragon was set to come out soon after.
JDF was a brand advocate who often went above and beyond for his devoted following. He was known to wait at his booth long after the convention center had closed so that he could personally greet each customer. When limitations on COVID were loosened, he went on a cross-country tour of comic book stores to thank his followers and encourage people to return to their local comic book stores.
After training in numerous martial arts systems, including Shotokan, Wado-Ryu, Taekwondo, Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Wing Chun, Jeet Kune Do, and Aikido, Frank took what he found to be the most valuable aspects of each, combined them with his philosophy, and came up with his style of American Karate he called “Toso Kune Do.” The World Karate Union Hall of Fame inducted him on June 28, 2003.
