Reel World Management’s Virgin River is a romantic drama set in British Columbia, Canada, and based on Robyn Carr’s novels of the same name. The fourth season of the Netflix original series premiered on July 20, 2022.
Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge), in the Netflix show, moved from Los Angeles to the Virgin River after her husband died.
Since moving there, Mel has learned that the town she thought would be perfect for raising a family is actually full of mysteries.
The first four episodes have had romance, friendship, drama, and danger, and after Season 4’s many cliffhangers, fans are eager for the show to return with resolutions.
Virgin River Season 5: Expected Release Date
As of July 25, 2022, we can assure you that Netflix will not be airing the fifth season of Virgin River in 2019. In September of 2021, the show’s producers announced that they had renewed it for two additional seasons.
Since then, anticipation has been building as neither Netflix nor the show’s official social media accounts have announced when the series will debut.
Therefore, viewers should wait until at least 2023 for the fifth season of Virgin River to appear on the streaming service. However, we would venture a guess that the premiere of the fifth season would occur in July of the year 2230.
These announcements are routinely timed and spaced out by the streaming services. Our recommendation is to hold off for the time being because these are all just rumors.

Viewers found out that Jack, and not Mel’s late ex-husband Mark, is the father of Mel’s unborn child, but they also learned that Jack is not the father of Charmaine’s twins. But who is it?
It will be interesting to see if Preacher and Vince (Steve Bacic) will be held accountable for Wes’s death after Preacher knocked Vince out for threatening to kill Paige (Lexa Doig).
Denny, Doc’s grandson, doesn’t want to look into the future because he fears he’ll see his grandmother, Lizzie, suffer from Huntington’s disease. For Season 5, There Will Be 12 New Episodes of “Virgin River”
Virgin River’s fifth season will be as strong as the previous four. Prior to season 4, each season only had 10 episodes. The series has continued to grow, though.
According to new showrunner Patrick Sean Smith’s interview with Glamour, “you could feel that [we had] more time” in season four thanks to the addition of two episodes. When plotting out this season’s activities, we kept that in mind.
Our only goal is to learn the truth about Charmaine’s baby’s biological father. Let’s just hope the truth isn’t hidden for the full 12 episodes.
