When is season 3 coming to Disney Plus?

Though no release date has been announced, the good news is that there’s still time for fans to speculate.

The third season is expected to launch on Disney+ in December 2022, according to rumors (as reported by TVLine). Because it falls within the same time range as Seasons 1 and 2, which were released around the same time, this would make sense.

As of November 2019 and October 2020, The Mandalorian’s first and second seasons were both released in December of that year. Filming would be included, as well as the time-consuming CGI and special effects required to make the program come to life.

Carl Weathers confirmed on Twitter that filming will begin in October 2021 and wrote: “Season 3 of Yours Truly, the Mandalorian premieres tomorrow. On Disney+, Greef Karga will return. #BePeace.”

‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 Cast

Season 3 cast members include Pedro Pascal as the bounty hunter, Giancarlo Esposito, and Weathers. The actor said that Season 3 of Better Call Saul will feature more of his nasty character Moff Gideon.

In October 2021, he told Metro magazine, “He is the super-villain who is all-powerful and who understands everything about technology and all these other things.” “So, suffice it to say, Moff will be back… and soon.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Christopher Lloyd will also appear in Season 3 of The Mandalorian. He was cast on March 18, and specifics of his alleged guest-starring appearance are being kept under wraps by the show’s production team.

Rosario Dawson and Katee Sackhoff, who played Ahsoka Tano and Bo-Katan, are expected to appear in future episodes. After starring in The Mandalorian Season 2 as Boba Fett and Fennec Shand, Ming-Na Wen went on to feature in the spinoff The Book of Boba Fett, which takes place concurrently with the plot arc of The Mandalorian.
