Jesi Corcuera entered this world on December 24, 1990, in Bacoor, Cavite. She had been assigned the female gender at birth, but as she developed and reached puberty, she became aware of internal shifts. Then, Jesi Corcuera began actively transitioning to the opposite gender.

In most cases, parents would not back their kids, and Jesi Corcuera’s mother initially opposed her acting career. Lesbian competitor Jesi Corcuera made her first television appearance in 2006 on the reality show StarStruck. She also had a partner in the form of actor Paulo Avelino. After receiving plastic surgery in 2013, she portrayed a trans man on Season 7 of the Philippine reality show Pinoy Big Brother in 2016.

Former “Starstruck” contestant Jesi Corcuera, now 31 years old, transitioned from a woman to a man after realizing the benefits of transgender education. In 2013, she decided it would be best to have plastic surgery to become a transgender guy.

Jesi Corcuera’s Instagram show her with visible scarring on the chest following plastic surgery and Jesi recounts how the scars signify her independence from society’s constant judgment, which she says is a direct result of the wounds.
