About a week after Travis Barker was hospitalized for pancreatitis, he and Kourtney Kardashian posted a video of a sunny drive to the beach. Look at pictures from their trip.
Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian are always there for each other, no matter what.
Six days after the rocker from blink-182 was taken to the hospital, he and his wife went to the beach on July 4. The Kardashians star posted a video to Instagram of herself, Penelope Disick, 9, and Reign Disick, 7, riding down the highway in a bright orange convertible with Travis at the wheel. When they got to the beach, Kourtney and Travis took pictures of the sand and water.
Travis had to be rushed to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. with pancreatitis, which Kourtney called a “scary and emotional week.” In an Instagram post from July 2, the musician said he had an endoscopy and was “feeling great.” But, he said, after dinner, he felt “excruciating pain.”
Travis wrote, “During the endoscopy, a very small polyp was removed from a very sensitive area, which is usually done by specialists. Unfortunately, this damaged a very important pancreatic drainage tube.” “This led to severe pancreatitis, which was life-threatening.”
He also said that he is “much better” now that he has had “intensive treatment.” And Kourtney, who got married to Travis in Italy in May, told her 188 million Instagram followers, “Our health is everything, and sometimes we forget how quickly it can change.”
“I am so thankful to God for healing my husband, for all of your prayers for him and for us, and for the outpouring of love and support,” she said. “I’m really touched and grateful. I can’t thank the specialists, doctors, and nurses at Cedars Sinai enough for how well they took care of my husband and me while we were there.”
Several family members have also sent their best wishes. Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble sent a bouquet of flowers and a card that said, “Thinking of you.” “Dear Travis, ” Get well soon!!!! Kris and Corey, we love you XO.”
Atiana De La Hoya, Travis’ stepdaughter, also thanked fans for their “outpouring of love and prayers” and said, “It is heard, felt, and appreciated.”
