Approximately six persons were killed and fifty-three were injured in an explosion on a major highway in Istanbul on Sunday afternoon, according to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The explosion’s street has businesses and restaurants on both sides. Tourists and locals frequent it.
