Has Courteney Undergone Any Plastic Surgery? Here Is All You Need To Know!
Courteney Cox is a well-known actress, producer, and director who became famous in the 1990s as Monica Geller on Friends. She has since appeared in numerous TV shows and movies and has been the subject of much media attention, particularly regarding her physical appearance. Rumors of plastic surgery have circulated for years, with many speculating that Cox has had work done on her face, nose, and lips. In this article, we will explore the evidence of Courteney Cox’s plastic surgery and the opinions surrounding it.
Has Courteney Undergone Any Plastic Surgery?
Due to her glowing skin, Courteney has received numerous questions about plastic surgery after three decades in the public eye. Unafraid to address the elephant in the room, the Ace Ventura: Pet Detective star has openly discussed her excessive use of fillers and injections.
In an interview with The Sunday Times in February 2022, Courteney disclosed what she learned about the procedures.
“There was a time when you go, ‘Oh, I’m changing. I’m looking older.’ And I tried to chase that [youthfulness] for years. And I didn’t realize that, oh s–t, I’m looking strange with injections and doing stuff to my face that I would never do now.”
In addition to admitting that she would not receive injections today, she stated that “the scrutiny” of attention surrounding her appearance is “intense, but I cannot imagine anything being more intense than what I put on myself.” She previously admitted that using lip fillers was a gradual transformation she now regrets.
Evidence on Courteney Cox’s Plastic Surgery
There is no denying that Cox’s appearance has changed over the years. In particular, many have noted changes to her face, nose, and lips. By looking at before-and-after photos, we can see that her cheeks appear fuller, and her jawline appears more defined. Her nose also looks slimmer and more refined than it did in earlier photos. Finally, her lips appear fuller and more pronounced, leading many to speculate that she has had lip injections.

In 2017, she told New Beauty,
“Well, what would end up happening is that you go to a doctor who would say, ‘You look great, but what would help is a little injection here or filler there,’” she told New Beauty in 2017. “So, you walk out, and you don’t look so bad, and you think, no one noticed — it’s good. Then, somebody tells you about another doctor: ‘This person’s amazing. They do this person who looks so natural.’ You meet them, and they say, ‘You should just do this.’ The next thing you know, you’re layered and layered and layered. You have no idea because it’s gradual until you go, ‘Oh s–t, this doesn’t look right.’”
Now, the actress is embracing her natural beauty and has gotten all of her fillers dissolved. Instead of trying to stop the aging process from happening, she’s got an entirely new, more positive outlook.
“Things are going to change. Everything’s going to drop. I was trying to make it not drop, but that made me look fake,” she said. “You need movement in your face, especially if you have thin skin like mine. Those aren’t wrinkles — they’re smile lines. I’ve had to learn to embrace movement and realize that fillers are not my friend.”
Courteney shares one daughter, Coco Arquette, with ex-husband David Arquette. The Alabama native opened up about raising the teenager and how she’s handled different milestones, like Coco experimenting with beauty products.
“I know some people think I should rein her in with the makeup, but it’s a form of self-expression. As long as she’s not sexualizing herself, it’s just what makes her feel good,” the Bedtime Stories actress explained. “But I want to keep an open relationship with her. I care more about what she’s watching than what she’s putting on her face.”
Courteney Cox’s plastic surgery rumors have been around for years, and the evidence suggests that there have been changes to her appearance. However, opinions are divided on whether these changes are good or bad. Regardless, it’s important to remember that plastic surgery is a personal choice, and celebrities should not be judged for undergoing procedures. Instead, we should focus on celebrating their talent and contributions to popular culture.
