Kevin Holland recently took part in the main event of UFC 279. The main event’s fight card had to be changed because three of the fighters did not make weight. The chaos it caused, UFC legend Nate Diaz’s farewell match and the controversy over UFC’s new shoe sponsorship deal made the event famous.

Kevin Holland posts a lot of funny and sarcastic things on social media. He also has something interesting about the deal between UFC and The Rock. At first glance, the American’s most recent Instagram post seems to support The Rock. But a closer look will show that it is not valid.

He put @therock in the post’s caption and said, “I like the new red shoes, do not listen to those other guys.” In 2020, the 29-year-old fighter tied the record for the most UFC won in a single year. Khamzat Chimaev, a rising UFC star, put him to sleep in the first round and won the fight.

Khazmat had also missed his weight, so he had to fight Kevin instead of Nate Diaz. Because of this loss, Holland’s record as a pro is now 23-8.

The things Nate Dias said “No one knows if the shoes are wrong because of how they are made or because they are not comfortable, but both fans and fighters dislike them. In an interview with ESPN, Nate Diaz, a former UFC superstar, said, “These f***ing suck. F*** these shoes!”

When she commented on a Twitter post, adult actress Kendra Lust also had the same point of view. She said, “As NateDiaz209 said, those shoes are terrible!” When UFC tried to get unusually rid of the bad press, it caused more trouble.

UFC put up a video of Cory Sandhagen’s interview before his fight with Song Yadong at UFC Vegas 60. The catch was that the interviewers used The Project Rock shoes instead of mics. Earlier, Bloody Elbow had talked about the details of the sponsorship deal.

It said that the fighters had to wear new shoes every time the UFC held an event. But the UFC fighters will not get any of the money made from the deal.
