There hasn’t been a red carpet event in months, but photos of Dane Cook from last August are showing up on social media because of the coronavirus pandemic.
People have used the pictures to make a meme that asks, “What the f—k happened to Dane Cook?” and shows how much his face has changed. Some fans think that the surprising change is the result of plastic surgery.
How did Dane Cook’s face get like that?
Most of the time, the 48-year-old doesn’t respond to negative comments on his Instagram page. In fact, he limits comments on most of his posts on purpose. But in 2018, the former member of the Crank Yankers talked about rumors that he had plastic surgery.
“So many weirdos DMing me asking why I wax my eyebrows or Botox. It’s called healthy living my friends,” Dane wrote, adding, “Never drank or did a drug. All that s–t f–ks up your skin. I’ve had a dermatologist for years to help me keep my skin nice with constant travel. Drink mostly water!”
Fans are wondering if Cook really did get plastic surgery after an Instagram meme went viral. Or are Cook’s body and face changes just a result of his changing lifestyle and getting older?
Aside from telling funny stories about the Kool-Aid Man or how his dad didn’t check for rocks before putting down a Slip ‘N Slide, Cook is also known for dating much younger women.
Dane Cook’s relationship with 21-year-old Kelsi Taylor continues to give us the creeps.
When the fitness instructor was still a teen in 2017, the stand-up initially admitted he was dating her. “We met at a game night I host at my place,” he shared on Instagram at the time. “We were friends for a while & soon after fell in like with each and then upgraded to love.”
In 2019, Dane was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and said that the couple’s relationship is always being criticized. “Because my girlfriend and I aren’t the same age, people are always making fun of us,” he said. But he always makes jokes about it.
“Sometimes I actually find myself saying, ‘Where has she been all my life?’ And then I realize she wasn’t alive for the first 26 years of it,” Dane teased on the talk show. “People are like, ‘You’re robbing the cradle.’ I was like, ‘She hasn’t slept in a cradle for, like, nine years. Relax.'”
