The Batman is coming on HBO Max at long last. When will it be available on the streaming service?

It’s almost time for Batman to make his comeback. That is, to HBO Max. The renowned DC Comics superhero recently starred in his most recent big-screen blockbuster, which will now be available on WarnerMedia’s streaming service alongside some of the hero’s biggest cinematic equivalents.

The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson in the titular role, has swiftly become the year’s greatest box office hit. At the time of writing, the Matt Reeves-directed picture had topped $750 million in global box office receipts, making it the third-highest-grossing solo film featuring DC’s Dark Knight. It will now make its streaming debut on HBO Max, where it will be enjoyed by a whole new audience.

On Monday, April 18, 2022, HBO Max will begin streaming The Batman, and air on HBO Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 12:01 a.m PT or 3:01 a.m. ET. HBO will broadcast it at 8/7c. HBO Max’s ad-free tier is $14.99 per month or $149.99 per year.

With a 45-day theatrical window, Warner Bros. agreed to offer all of its 2022 theatre releases on HBO Max after the 45-day window has expired.

Where Can I See The Batman Else?

If you don’t already have an HBO Max subscription, you’ll have to pay extra starting April 18 if you want to acquire The Batman digitally through Warner Bros.’s “early Premium Digital Ownership.” Digital services including Amazon Prime, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play will each charge $29.99 for the DVD and $24.99 for a 48-hour rental of The Batman.

On May 24, 2022, The Batman will be released on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD. Now it’s time to retaliate!
