According to different sources, Drummer Phil Selway has confirmed that Radiohead will “get together” at the beginning of the year. Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood had formed a new band called The Smile since the release of their last album. They have since released their debut album, ‘A Light For Attracting Attention,’ and will be touring extensively in 2022 in support of the album. Sons of Kemet drummer Tom Skinner has also joined the band.

When asked about Radiohead’s plans for the future last summer, guitarist Ed O’Brien said, “There’s a truth to what we do, so we’re not going to be one of those bands that comes together for the big paycheck.” To continue, O’Brien said, “The problem about Radiohead, we could do anything in a couple years. Possibly, we won’t. Yet, I believe that there must be at least five individuals saying, “I really want to do this again with you.” And right now, I believe, since we’ve done it for so long, we’re all reaching out and having unique experiences.
