The sheriff’s office said Hutchins was flown to the University of New Mexico Hospital, but she later died there from her wounds. Baldwin and armorer Gutierrez-Reed was charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter on January 19 by Santa Fe County District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies and special prosecutor Andrea Reeb, over a year after the fatal incident on set. Director of Rust Souza, who was shot and injured, will not face any charges due to the event. According to the press announcement, David Halls, the assistant director, pleaded guilty to negligent use of a deadly weapon. Criminal charges will be filed against Alec Baldwin and other members of the Rust film crew, New Mexico Attorney General Hedy F.
