Sony Pictures’ fantasy-comedy franchise ‘Ghostbusters’ just dropped an all new first trailer of the upcoming movie ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’, on Tuesday, July 27, and is all set to go on floors on November 11, 2021.
The all new reboot of this ever so popular 80s gem, featuring Paul Rudd and Finn Wolfhard as the lead fighters, chasing ghosts and souls, will be something much more intense and darker than expected to be, just like those previous lighthearted franchises.
Well, the plot will be all about the journey of a single mother protagonist played by Carrie Coon, who moves in to a rural town with her kids Trevor, played by Wolfhard and Phoebe, played by McKenna Grace, with high hopes of starting life on a fresh canvas, all over again.
The family soon discovers a hidden ghost trap beneath the floorboards of the house formerly owned by Carrie’s father Egon Spengler, played by Harold Ramis, and is one of the original ghostbusters, along with laying their hands on the car Ecto-1.
Watch out for the most awaited trailer of the year, that proves to be as promising as exhilarating.
Being full hard and heavy on nostalgia, the release has already been rightfully approved by the fans and audiences all over the world, who have taken to Twitter to express their excitement and love for the trailer as they anxiously anticipate the movie release, making ‘Ghostbusters’ go trending.
The new Ghostbusters doesn't look baaaaad or anything, but it's so weird that their marketing angle is to play up your nostalgia for some sort of alternate, Spielbergian version of the original movie that never existed. Also Walmart Doritos Hershey Sony PS5
