The marvellous American fashion designer who has been working in the industry for nearly two decades has finally addressed her falling out with former assistant Brad Goreski.
However, this isn’t the first time she is addressing the issues as back September 2011, Zoe alleged to ‘New York magazine that Goreski “started to pursue our clients, started going to all these events, and doing all the things he said he had no interest in” within a week of leaving her Rachel Zoe Inc. brand.
On Tuesday, Rachel Zoe on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ answers a question about her parting ways with her assistant Brad Goreski in 2010. The host Andy Cohen asked what is her equation with Brad now after near a decade has passed since then. Cohen then asked, “Is it uncomfortable to see him at events when you’re out or is it all past?” to which the designer replied that she doesn’t see him.
Fellow guest Mindy Kaling also asked about what really happened between the duo, to which Andy suggested that she needs to ‘binge’ The Rachel Zoe Project to know the real deal. Mindy continued the matter by asking Zoe, “Isn’t it, like, professional?”, to which Rachel answered in affirmation, “People should be professional. They Should.”
Mindy found Zoe’s this answer ‘classy’ and also jokingly said that if she would have some issue, “I would not be classy.”
Not only Zoe but Brad had also addressed these issues back in 2011 on his series ‘It’ a Brad, Brad World’, and said that the duo no longer talked with each other, however, when the separation of Zoe and Goreski was announced, they said it was amicable. Goreski also added that he had always conducted himself with ‘honesty, with dignity and with grace, and would continue to do so.
