One Piece release date

Netflix just tweeted a statement from the show’s creator, Eiichiro Oda, about the upcoming season of One Piece, which does not yet have a release date.

“It’ll take a little more time to get this performance done, but we’ll continue to try our best to provide a product that we’re positive will be loved by everyone across the world!” It’s going to become better and better, so stay tuned!

Following the show’s launch in January, filming was scheduled to begin in Cape Town in the summer of 2020 but was postponed due to the pandemic.

Showrunner Steven Maeda shared a snapshot of himself in Cape Town with the phrase “arrival” on his Instagram account around the beginning of October.

Maeda turned to social media in March 2021 to reassure followers that production had finally begun and was moving forward at full speed despite additional delays caused by the virus.

Our production was put on hold when COVID evicted us from our offices one year ago. Our efforts to bring @onepiecenetflix to life haven’t slowed down. Thanks for being so patient and for all of your thoughtful comments and inquiries,” he added.

Is the Netflix adaptation of One Piece going to follow the same plot lines as the manga and anime?

The Netflix version of One Piece is yet to diverge from the original manga and anime in any significant way. Netflix has only purchased 10 episodes for the first season of its adaptation, despite the fact that the anime series, which debuted in 1999, has more than 1,000 episodes. According to the premise of the first season, it’s likely that Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates will play a major role.
