My Hero’s Mission is the third Japanese animation film to be remade in anime manga form. World Heroes’ Mission, which debuted in Japan on August 6 and in English-speaking countries on October 29, is the highest-grossing film in the franchise, grossing an estimated $40.3 million worldwide.

As part of the Endeavor Agency arc, the film follows the adventures of Izuku Midoriya and his classmates as they join forces with Pro-Heroes from all across the world to stop a terrorist plot that has the potential to bring humankind to its knees.

The film, which was produced by Bones Studio, the company that created the My Hero Academia television anime series, was directed by Kenji Nagasaki (My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising) and written by Ysuke Kuroda (My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising) (Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online, Mobile Suit Gundam 00).

Aside from producing the soundtrack, Mayuko Furumoto (Noragami, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) oversaw the cinematography, while Yoshihiko Umakoshi (Saint Seiya Omega, Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor) designed the characters for Yuki Hayashi (Shaman King, Welcome to the Ballroom).
