WOTLK Classic Release Date Information And All Updates Here That You Want To Know

Blizzard Entertainment has announced that The Wrath of the Lich King will return to World of Warcraft later this year, giving WoW fans yet another nostalgic treat.

In the same way that World of Warcraft Classic (which launched in 2019) and Burning Crusade Classic was re-released in 2022, the WotLK growth from 2008 will be re-released in 2022 for WoW fans to enjoy all over again (which launched in 2021).

Blizzard stated in an official blog post, “You will once again be able to explore chilling lands, storm Icecrown Citadel, and put a stop to the Lich King’s evil plans. In this re-release of the 2008 expansion, only the most tenacious can challenge the Lich King and put an end to his reign of terror.”

“Just as it shook up World of Warcraft during its initial release, Wrath of the Lich King Classic would then thrill both veterans and newcomers alike with a slew of improved features and content to explore,” the developers continued.

So, what do we know about the release date of Wrath of the Lich King Classic and the upcoming beta test? Continue reading for more on this, as well as another look at the epic cinematic trailer.

Death Knight players will begin at level 55, while everyone else will level to the new level cap of 80. However, when it came to the actual release date, Blizzard simply stated 2022.

This is most likely due to the fact that the next expansion had not yet been announced at the time of writing. However, it appears that this will be a fall or winter launch. The new expansion will then be scheduled for late 2022 or early 2023.

WotLK Classic Features

As with WoW Classic and TBC Classic, all you need is a valid World of WoW subscription to be able to play the updated edition of the Northrend adventure for no additional charge. Preparations have already begun on the public test server for TBC Classic in order to begin the last section of the game’s campaign around the Sunwell Plateau as soon as possible. The goal is for us to continue to make Nordend a dangerous place in the year 2022.

The following are the most important aspects of World of Warcraft: Classic, according to Blizzard:

The unforgiving, frozen north: After starting in one of two Northrend zones (Borean Tundra or Howling Fjord), players will travel through some of the most majestic views and most beloved narratives in Warcraft history before reaching the Lich King’s seat of power in Icecrown, where the Lich King will take his final resting place.

The Rise of the Death Knights: Death Knights, the first hero class in World of Warcraft, are available to players of both factions and begin at level 55. They use the forces of darkness to their advantage in the battle against the evil that threatens Azeroth’s survival.

Profession – Inscription for a new profession: It is possible to produce magical glyphs that alter the appearance and properties of spells and abilities with this new profession, which is available now. They can also craft powerful trinkets and off-hand objects to supplement their arsenal.

Achievements unlocked: Achievements have made their way over to World of Warcraft Classic, granting players access to a completely new set of prizes for their exploits and accomplishments.

Dungeons and Raids: Players will be able to relive revolutionary 5-player dungeons such as Azjol-Nerub and Cull Stratholme, as well as besiege Naxxramas in a 10-player raid, which is a new take on the original 40-player raid that was available before World of Warcraft (buy now) was published.
