Marvel Cinematic Universe’s ‘Black Widow’ grosses over a whopping $4.9 Million

Black Widow internationally collected over $4.9 million from 11 overseas markets. “Black Widow” Disney and Marvel’s solo superhero, adventure, and action movie were launched on Wednesday.  

The Scarlet Johansson starred movie kicked off the biggest in United Kingdon where it collected over $1.7 million on its first day of release. Even in France, the numbers were a generous $1.6 million on the first day. Black Widow also had a grand opening in Italy, the Netherlands, and Sweden with a massive collection of $700,000, $300,000, and $300,000 respectively.  

The movie had been waited impatiently by the fans and finally, it graced the cinemas and OTT on Wednesday. The comic book adaptation Black Widow was supposed to be released on 24th April 2020, which got delayed due to the pandemic.  

Marvel fans have been waiting desperately to watch this movie.  People are excited to see Scarlet Johansson as Black Widow again along with the new cast members Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff, and David Harbour as Red Guardian.  

The Cate Shortland-directed movie, Black Widow has finally hit the cinemas two years after 2019’s Spiderman: Far from Home. The Marvel franchise, Black Widow, will continue its releases this weekend in 46 foreign territories and is expected to generate $50 million at the international box office.   

The movie is yet to be released in a lot of places such as China, where they have a chance of potential growth in the box office collection but haven’t received a date yet.
