Kristen Bell, who was in Frozen, seems to have confirmed that there might be a Frozen 3 in the works. But there is a catch before you start warming up your voice to sing “Let It Go” again.

During an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s talk show The Tonight Show to promote her children’s book The World Needs More Purple Schools, Bell was asked by Fallon about the future of the franchise and if we might see more of Elsa and Anna in the far future.

“What can we say about Frozen 3?” he asked her.

That’s when the actress from A Good Place dropped a bombshell in a sneaky way: “I would like to officially announce with zero authority… Frozen 3.”

Then Fallon went on a bit more: “But there could be something maybe in the works and maybe happening… maybe.”

But right after she said that she made it clear that she doesn’t have the power to say anything, so people should be skeptical of what she says.

“Please bear in mind I did say zero authority because I can’t do that. I can’t do that. I’m not in charge,”

Bell kept it a secret and said that she would definitely do a third movie if it happened.

“Well, you know, I’ll keep it mysterious. But I know Idina [Menzel] recently said she would do it. And I feel like if we’re all in, like, what are we waiting for? We want it, let’s do it.”

Even though Frozen 2 was the second-highest-grossing animated movie of all time, Disney has not yet given the go-ahead for a third movie.

Mark Smith, who was in charge of the story for Frozen 2, said, “We haven’t talked about a third movie.”

Chris Buck, who worked with Jennifer Lee to make both Frozen movies, agreed with him. “I always say, ‘Ask us a little later,'” he told RadioTimes.com. “For us, I would say, ‘Ask us in six months.'”

Disney has not yet confirmed the production of a Frozen sequel. Olaf Presents on Disney+, featuring Josh Gad as the popular singing snowman, is the most current endeavor to use a character from the film. This short series is a continuation of running humor from Frozen 2 in which Olaf recounts the events of Frozen by having him do the same for other Disney fan favorites including The Little Mermaid, Moana, and The Lion King, Aladdin, and Tangled.

Similar to Olaf Presents, the tale of the loving robot from Big Hero 6 will be continued in the Baymax! series, which will debut on Disney+ soon after the service’s launch. Even though it was out a year before the massively popular Frozen musical, this picture was mostly ignored when it was first released in 2014. Big Hero 6’s plot did, in fact, find its way to television for a three-season run that concluded in 2021.
