The story is about a girl called Aoi Tsubaki. When she was little, her grandfather talked to Ayakashi spirits and she could see them too. One day, she finally met the Ayakashi that was haunting her.
The Ayakashi was an ogre who planned his own way to get Aoi Tsubaki. The reasons for her disappearance are more sinister than a failed love life. The Ayakashi was a man who married Aoi Tsubaki but then announced to her that he would be staying in Japan.
The area where they lived in the U.S. is a Native American reservation and the marriage would have been illegal. Odanna wants to marry Aoi Tsubaki, but she will not.
But they agree on Plan B. She works at his inn called Tenjin’ya to pay off the debt. But she still wants to marry him.
The anime can be watched on Crunchyroll. The story is about a girl called Aoi who can see spirits called ayakashi. An ogre approached her after she lost her grandfather. A strong and caring bond is created between them.
Aoi is told that she must marry her new co-worker, Arai. She refuses this offer and thinks of ways to repay the debt without getting married. Aoi decides that she will repay Arai by telling him about the trick to losing weight.
