Jamie Lee Curtis opens up on her son coming out as transgender


The ‘Halloween’ franchise fame Jamie Lee Curtis has opened up on her youngest son coming out as a transgender, and how do his parents feel about this revelation.

In conversation with ‘AARP The Magazine’, the 62 year old American actress and writer shared how she and her husband Christopher Guest, 73, feel about their child and have come to accept him wholeheartedly.

She shared, they “have watched in wonder and pride as our son became our daughter Ruby.”

Her “constant metamorphosis” life, as truly referred to by the lady herself, is super proud of their kids, Ruby and Annie.

Jamie shared that Ruby is a 25 year old computer gaming editor and their eldest child, daughter Annie is a 34 year old married woman who is passionate about dance and works as an instructor for the same.

The ‘Knives Out’ actress also opened up on her daughter Ruby’s plans to tie the knot with her fiance soon, and she and Christopher someday hope to become grandparents.

Talking about her family life and bonds that they share with each other, Jamie added, “I feel safe when I drive up and see that [he is] home. That’s the long marriage. It’s the safety of knowing his car is in the garage, that I’m not alone,” referring to her husband, who is her only safe place.
