Anne Heche is still in the hospital and in intensive care after her car crashed into a house in Los Angeles on Friday and caught on fire.
“Anne is in the intensive care unit. She is lucky to be alive. She was badly burned and will take a long time to get better. Her team and family are still trying to figure out what happened “CNN heard from someone who knows Heche on Saturday morning.
Los Angeles Police Public Information Officer Jeff Lee told CNN on Friday that the car was going fast when it went off the road and crashed into a house.
Heche was in very bad shape when paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department took her to a nearby hospital. The LAFD said that it took firefighters more than an hour to “access, contain, and completely put out the stubborn flames” inside the heavily damaged building.
No one was hurt in any other way.

Heche first became well-known when she played twins Vicky Hudson and Marley Love on the soap opera “Another World” from 1987 to 1991. She won a Daytime Emmy Award for this role. She made movies like “Donnie Brasco,” “Six Days, Seven Nights,” and “Wag the Dog” after that.
In the late 1990s, when she was dating Ellen DeGeneres, the media gave her a lot of attention, which was bad for her career. In an interview in 2021, Heche said that after their relationship became public, she felt “blacklisted.”
Heche, who dated DeGeneres from 1997 to 2000, said, “I didn’t do a studio picture for 10 years.”
