Here’s Everything You Need To Know About Marvel Phase 5 Movies and Series

Marvel Studios has made the decision to organize their upcoming slate of motion pictures and television shows during the San Diego Comic-Con, unveiling every project that is a part of Phase 5 of the MCU. Marvel Studios announced interesting new projects and release dates for projects that had already been announced, such as the Captain America movie with Anthony Mackie and Charlie Cox’s return to the role of Daredevil.

The sequel to “The Infinity Saga,” which covered Phases 1 to 3, “The Multiverse Saga” is the latest MCU storyline, according to Marvel Studios’ presentation at SDCC. The new story will have three different phases, similar to the last one, with Phase 4 expected to conclude this year following the release of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law on Disney+ and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in theatres. In 2023, Phase 5 will start, and Jonathan Majors will play Kang the Conquerer, the major antagonist who will hang over all upcoming films and television shows for a few years.

Phase 5 of the MCU begins with the already announced Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which stars Kang as the primary antagonist. Along with previously announced Disney+ programs like Echo and Ironheart, Phase 5 also contains eagerly anticipated films like The Marvels and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Six movies and six Disney+ series total, with the “Thunderbolts” film ushering in Phase 5’s conclusion in 2024. In a noteworthy 18-episode season of “Daredevil: Born Again,” Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will return to their respective roles from the Netflix series. Anthony Mackie will play the next Captain America in “Captain America: New World Order,” with Oscar-winning actor Mahershala Ali starring in “Blade” (which begins production in October).

Additionally, returning are Karen Gillan as Nebula, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax, and Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon. Sylvester Stallone, who played Gillan in Vol. 2, and Elizabeth Debicki, who played the Golden High Priestess of the Sovereign, will both appear in Vol. 3.

The popular Hawkeye series’ spinoff, Echo, stars Alaqua Cox as the titular deaf heroine. For the series, Vincent D’Onofrio will reprise his role as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, and Charlie Cox will play Matt Murdock/Daredevil. Zahn McClarnon is back as Maya’s father, and he is joined by Devery Jacobs, Graham Greene, Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Cody Lightning, and the rest of the supporting cast.
