After hearing Bell’s spine-tingling scream as he emerged from the waterfall in Episode 4 of Danmachi IV, I finally grasped how dangerous and terrible the dungeon actually is.
Despite having seen the prior seasons, Bell’s replies were quite a nave. Having a character who has seen and survived so much yet screamed in terror was more powerful than I had planned for the series.
I wish they would show the dungeon more frequently, as it is a horrific place but is rarely depicted in the program’s pivotal portions.

DanMachi Season 4 Episode 3 Recap
In episode 3 of DanMachi Season 4, the group finally accepts the unique monster they’re up against and decides to confront it head-on.
Bell is attacked from behind and pulled to the basement levels because the monster is smarter than anybody thought.
DanMachi has had a strong premiere, but this is easily the greatest episode. Almost everyone got some screen time, and the danger they face from their new foe is palpable.
Season 4 Episode 3 of DanMachi concluded with a highly polished combat sequence, and it also included the first appearance of the mermaid. What, if any, the part will the Xenos from Season 3 play in Bell’s eventual escape from the underworld?
What Happened At The End Of Danmachi Season 3?
Before things are ultimately restored back the way they were before, Season 3 of DanMachi concludes with a highly anticipated rematch between Bell and one of his most deadly opponents. After the last episode’s cliffhanger, he goes up to the Xenos and demands that some of them return and cause trouble on the surface. Following the events of Daedalus Street, a number of Xenos, including Gros, reluctantly agree and attack the people of Orario in an effort for Bell to kill them and maintain his image.
During the assault, Bell pulls Gros back as he advances at Eina. Hermes had given her a bracelet earlier in the evening, and Gros had used it to find her among the crowd. After realizing Hermes’ plan, Hestia joins her family in their hurry to Bell after observing what is happening.
