Everything we know about Constantine 2 is shown here. Keanu Reeves’s film was a reimagining of the DC Comics character John Constantine, better known by his moniker, Hellblazer. Reeves’ interpretation of the role was a departure from the norm in that he did away with the blonde hair and British accent that had previously been associated with the supernatural investigator. Francis Lawrence made his directorial debut with the feature-length film Constantine, which he hoped would become a franchise.
In 2005, when Constantine was released to theaters, the movie was not a smashing success. Over $230 million was made globally, but terrible reviews have all but killed any hope of a sequel happening anytime soon. Constantine, on the other hand, has amassed something of a cult following. Calls for a sequel to Constantine have only increased since Reeves’ career revival with John Wick, fueling speculation that a film or TV series starring Reeves as Constantine may be produced. One such project is Justice League Dark: HBO Max.
In response to fan demand, Constantine 2 was discussed by Reeves and those connected with the original picture. There are a number of unanswered concerns that this raises, like whether or not a Constantine 2 will be made, who will star in it, and when it will be available. The following is the complete list of information about Constantine 2 that has been released.

Is Constantine 2 Probably Isn’t Happening?
The possibility of a Constantine sequel was first quite real. Peter Stormare, who played Lucifer in the original film, has all but guaranteed a sequel is in the works. One day he just posted a picture of himself in Constantine with the phrase “Sequel In The Works.” Fans were already enthusiastic about the concept before Reeves expressed interest in it. Reeves broke the news that he had been unable to produce Constantine 2 in December 2021 on Stephen Colbert’s show, The Late Show. “I would love to play John Constantine again from the Constantine movie. I’ve tried, I’ve tried, Stephen. I would love to.”
Constantine 2: Possible Release Date
Since Constantine 2 is still in development, there is currently no estimated release date. Despite Keanu Reeves’ assertion to the contrary, Constantine 2 may still be formally greenlit and might earn a release date in the future. It is unclear where development stands at the moment, but recent conversations between Lawrence and Reeves suggest that Constantine 2 may move fast once its existence is established. we can expect it in 2024 or in 2025.
The History of Constantine
This movie, The History of Constantine, is based on a graphic novel by Steve Bissette and Alan Moore from the 1980s. This picture is an interesting hybrid of genres, with its heavy metal soundtrack, horror themes, and gloomy sense of comedy. The New Zealand director Peter Jackson was contacted to helm the film so that audiences may experience the range of human emotions that such a situation evokes. Costing more than $15,000,000 to produce, filming took place at Stone Street Studios in Wellington, New Zealand.
DC Comics’ John Constantine is an entirely made-up character. His first appearance was in issue #37 of The Saga of the Swamp Thing in 1985. Later on, he portrayed Hellblazer, the show’s main character.
What Can We Expect From Constantine 2
The wait for the next movie, Constantine 2, is only a matter of months. In 2022, both Los Angeles and London fall victim to a demonic invasion. In this film’s parallel reality, the planet Earth has been corrupted by demonic powers. Keanu Reeves is among several who have reprised their roles as the exorcist John Constantine in subsequent films. Starring Tilda Swinton, Djimon Hounsou, Shia LaBeouf, and Djimon Hounsou, among others, the film also has a number of notable supporting actors.
Multiple angel-demon battles, explosive set pieces, eye-popping visual effects, and stellar acting performances are planned for the upcoming film. Since Gabriel is now human, she may renew old grudges against Constantine.

Constantine 2 Cast & Character
In this post, we’ll take a look at the cast and crew behind season two of Netflix’s Constantine. There was a lot to like about the show’s first season’s adaptation of the Vertigo Hellblazer books. Since nothing else on television is like it, the show has become immensely popular among both niche and general audiences.
Matt Ryan plays John Constantine, and the cast also includes Jonjo O’Neill as Gaz, Angélica Celaya as Zed, Charles Halford as Chas, Bailey Tippen as Astra Logue, Jeremy Davies as Ritchie Simpson, Harold Perrineau as Manny, Emmett J. Scanlan as Jim Corrigan, Michael James Shaw as Papa Midnite, and more.
If a Constantine sequel is made, it’s probable that Keanu Reeves will play the lead role again. He’s already shown enthusiasm about returning to the role of Neo. He will play Neo once again in The Matrix 4. Since Peter Stormare was the one who discussed the film’s production, we may assume that Lucifer will be back in Constantine 2. As far as we know, no other parties are involved.
