The dark fantasy, comedy, horror, and action manga all had a lot of readers. Also, the announcement of an anime adaptation has made a lot of people in the anime community very excited. No matter what, the last page of the manga was on December 14, 2020. But Shueisha’s second issue of Shonen Jump said that there would be a Part 2 of Chainsaw Man.

Still, it took over a year for the manga to get a second part. Fans were eager to find out what happened next in the manga since an anime version is already in the works. Jump Festa 22′ revealed that Chainsaw Man Part 2 would be released in Summer 2022, although no particular release date has been given.

On December 3rd, 2021, the Unofficial Weekly Shonen Jump Twitter page announced that both the manga and anime adaptations of the second half of the manga will be out in 2022.

In a unique presentation for Chainsaw Man, artist Tatsuki Fujimoto was interviewed by an animated Pochita at this weekend’s Jump Festa 2022 event.

Manga fans may expect a Summer 2022 comeback of the popular manga series, but no precise date was given.

That being said, fans may expect additional information to be released in March, when the brand celebrates its three-year anniversary of the first volume sale.

Once Chainsaw Man 2’s official release date is made public, this entry will be updated accordingly.

The Plot of Chainsaw Man:

When his father died, Denji was saddled with massive debt and no way to pay it back. Thanks to a Devil dog he spared named Pochita, he’s able to subsist through odd jobs and slaying Devils for the Yakuza. Pochita’s chainsaw skills come in helpful against these formidable monsters. When the Yakuza betrays him and he’s slain by the Zombie Devil, Pochita sacrifices himself to save his former master. Now Denji has been reincarnated as some type of bizarre Devil-Human hybrid. He is now a Chainsaw Man!

After his metamorphosis, he’s swiftly recruited by Makima to join the Public Safety Devil Hunters under threat of extinction now that he’s technically a Devil. Now that he’s living nicely for the first time in his life, Denji struggles to identify his dreams and create meaningful connections while slaying Devils and working alongside other eccentric Devil Hunters.

MAPPA has yet to announce a release date for the anime, despite the fact that we’ve seen the trailer for it for some time now. But the trailer for the show seemed good, at least.
