Better Call Saul Season 6

Better Call Saul Season 6 Confirmed Release Date Out! Everything We Know So Far

Jimmy McGill’s last ride is rapidly coming to a close. Better Call Saul season 6 will be the show’s final season, and it will portray the final stages of Jimmy McGill’s transformation into scummy criminal (with an emphasis on criminal) lawyer Saul Goodman for the first and last time. If Breaking Bad was the story of one man’s transformation from Mr. Chips to Scarface, Better Call Saul is the story of one man who finds himself trapped between the idealized version of himself that he knows he could be and the less than reputable version of himself that the rest of the world sees him as in the present. This season, the idealized version of himself will lose the fight, but he will do it with a bang, no doubt.

The following is what showrunner Peter Gould had to say about the last season of Better Call Saul in an official statement:

From the beginning of Better Call Saul, my aim was to tell the whole tale of our multifaceted and compromised hero, Jimmy McGill — and now, thanks to the support of AMC and Sony, my dream is becoming a reality.” Fans and critics have been instrumental in making this journey possible, and we couldn’t be more appreciative. We’ll begin production on the sixth and final season next month, and we’ll do everything we can to make sure we don’t miss the mark.”

Well, the sixth and final season of The Walking Dead is now complete, and we couldn’t be more excited to see if the cast and crew will be able to make it to the finish line. This page contains all of the information we presently have regarding Better Call Saul season 6.

Better Call Saul Season 6 Cast

After suffering a heart attack on the set of Better Call Saul season 6, Bob Odenkirk has recovered and completed filming on the sixth season. Kim Wexler, played by Rhea Seehorn, is credited with saving his life, and he attributes this to her quick thinking and actions. In other words, we know at least two of the cast members that will appear in the upcoming final season!

Fan favorites include Jonathan Banks’ Mike Ehrmantraut and Giancarlo Esposito’s Gus Fring, as well as Michael Mando as Nacho Vargo, Patrick Fabian as Howard Hamlin, and Tony Dalton in the role of the enigmatic Lalo Salamanca will be returning to the show as well. In fact, it has been revealed that the Salamanca twins, Luis and Daniel Moncada, as well as Mark Margolis, who will reprise his role as the elder Hector Salamanca, and even Raymond Cruz, who will play the wild card of the family, Tuco Salamanca, will return to the show.

Here are some of the other returning cast members you may look forward to seeing:

  • Huell Babineaux, a close associate of Saul, is played by Lavell Crawford.
  • Rich Schweikart, a partner at Schweikart & Cokely, is played by Dennis Boutsikaris.
  • Clifford Main, the managing partner at Davis & Main, is played by Ed Begley Jr.
  • Don Eladio Vuente, the leader of the Juarez drug gang, is played by Steven Bauer.
  • Juan Bolsa, a member of the Juarez drug gang, is played by Javier Grajeda.
  • Domingo “Krazy-8” Molina, a trader for the Salamancas, is played by Maximino Arciniega.
  • Victor, Gus’s henchman, is played by Jeremiah Bitsui.
  • Tyrus Kitt, Gus’ henchman, is played by Ray Campbell.
  • Nacho’s father, Manuel Varga, is played by Juan Carlos Cantu.
  • French actress Tina Parker plays Francesca Liddy, Saul’s receptionist in the television series.
  • Stacey Ehrmantraut, Mike’s daughter-in-law, is played by Kerry Condon in this episode.
  • Kaylee Ehrmantraut, Mike’s granddaughter, is played by Juliet Donenfeld in this episode.

Several Breaking Bad characters, including David Costabile as chemist Gale Boetticher, Laura Fraser as Madrigal Electromotive executive Lydia Rodarte-Quayle, Dean Norris as Hank Schrader, and Steven Michael Quezada as Steven “Gomey” Gomez, could make cameo appearances, but we’ll be mourning the loss of Robert Forster, who played relocator extraordinaire Ed Galbraith, who passed away in 2013. The big issue on everyone’s mind is whether or not we’ll see Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul in their roles as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, but we’ll have to wait and see to find out.

Better Call Saul Season 6 Plot

Official storyline information for Better Call Saul season 6 is being kept under wraps for the time being, but we do have an official plot summary, which you can read in the section below:

”Better Call Saul’s final season brings the convoluted journey and transition of its conflicted hero, Jimmy McGill, into criminal defense attorney Saul Goodman to a close.’ Season six follows Jimmy, Saul, and Gene as they travel from the cartel to the courthouse and from Albuquerque to Omaha. It also follows Jimmy’s complicated relationship with Kim, who is going through her own existential crisis at the time. While all is going on, Mike, Gus, Nacho, and Lalo are caught up in a game of cat and mouse with potentially fatal consequences.”

Jimmy found himself coming uncomfortably near to the cartel’s operations at the end of season 5, while Kim appeared to be on the verge of breaking bad with plans to ruin Howard Hamlin’s life at the end of season 5. Meanwhile, Nacho assisted Gus in carrying out a strike on the Salamanca compound, but Lalo managed to escape and will be seeking retribution. Gus will also be looking for Nacho in order to prevent the young dealer from incriminating him in the hit. All of the plot details that we are aware of are included above, but there will undoubtedly be much more revealed in the next 13 episodes.

We won’t have to hold our collective breath for long. On April 18th, Better Call Saul season 6 will premiere, and we’ll be talking down each and every episode right here at Den of Geek!
