The Bad Batch Season 2: The first season of The Bad Batch is on Disney+, but Clone Force 99 and Omega won’t be back. The animated show was brought back for a second season before its two-part finale.
It’s a good thing because the end of our ride with the Batch wasn’t very satisfying. Maybe The Bad Batch season 2 will be the end of their story. Fans of the show have watched this group of misfits go on 16 adventures as they try to find their place in a galaxy that is changing quickly.
The Bad Batch has looked into issues of autonomy, free will, and what it means to be a soldier in a dictatorship.
The season finale was the end of an era in the Star Wars universe. It answered the question of how to clone troopers and showed how they were phased out of the military as the Empire took over the galaxy.
Where will the show go next, and when will the next part of Batch’s story come out? So far, here’s what we know.

What To Expect From Season 2 Of Star Wars: The Bad Batch?
In an interview with The Convenor Call, the show’s composer, Kevin Kiner, said that the next season of The Bad Batch would give viewers a glimpse of an older Omega.
He said, “I think we can say that Omega is a little bit older in Season 2—not much.” “There are some really interesting political stories I can’t wait for people to see… “Our direction has always been genre.”
Kiner said that he had looked at John Williams’s work before when he was writing music for the return of Coruscant: “I was just working on a scene of Coruscant this morning. It’s just a shot to show where Coruscant is, and we’ve seen it many times before, but I’m thinking, “I really need to channel John Williams a little more than I have been, because it needs that feeling.”
Kevin Kiner said that the next season will have more familiar characters, but he didn’t say who they are.
“Season 2 has more people, that much I can tell you.”
