Zombies 4 Cancelled: No Release Date, Future Of The Disney Franchise Confirmed

Entertainment

After the first Zombies movie came out in 2018, it quickly became one of the most popular series on Disney Channel. Since then, there have been two more movies in the series.

Zombies 3, the second of these sequels, is finally here, and Zed and Addison are starting their last year at Seabrook High.

Fans of the series want to know what comes next, if anything. Many have asked if there will be a Zombies 4 game.

Zombies 3 Release Date And Plot Details

Zombies 3 danced its way onto Disney+ on July 15, 2022. On August 12, 2022, at 8 p.m., an extended version of the movie will be shown for the first time on the Disney Channel.

The movie follows Zed, a zombie football player, and Addison, a zombie cheerleader, as they start their last year at Seabrook High.

After years of fighting, the town is finally a safe place for both humans and zombies, and both Zed and Addison are excited for the next step in their lives: college.

Before the couple can move on, they have one last thing to do in Seabrook. The town is getting ready to open a brand-new cheer pavilion, and Addison has invited cheerleading teams from all over the world to compete in an international cheer-off.

But the competition also draws the attention of a group of aliens, who come to Seabrook to compete. The people of the town quickly become suspicious of the newcomers when they find out that they might be looking for more than just a friendly game.

Will Zombies 4 Come Out?

No, Zombies 4 will not happen.

When Disney announced that the third Zombies movie would come out in 2021, they also said that it would be the last one.

Lauren Kisilevsky, Vice President of Original Movies for Disney Branded Television, was quoted by TVLine as saying, “After the huge success of Zombies 2, we wanted to up the stakes in this third and final instalment.

“So when the most unusual people in the world come to Seabrook, our team of cheerleaders, zombies, and werewolves must work together to face a galactic threat that could change Seabrook forever.”

The news that there won’t be a fourth Zombies movie doesn’t come as much of a surprise, since Zed and Addison are in their last year at Seabrook High.

But fans will be sad that the movie series won’t continue to show their adventures at college, especially since the end of Zombies 3 hinted at mermaids coming to Seabrook and Bucky sneaking onto the alien’s Mothership.

A Fourth Zombies Movie Is Required By Fans

Even though Disney has said that the Zombies movie series is over, fans of the fun movies are not going quietly. Many have taken to social media to ask for a fourth movie.

One fan wrote on Twitter, “Okay, so I just watched the whole movie, and that can’t be the end of Zombies 3; we need Zombies 4.”

Another person said, “I just watched Zombies 3.” Someday, we need a Zombie 4.”

This fan sent a tweet to Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly, who played the main characters, saying, “Dear @MiloManheim and @ImMegDonnelly, I’m crying and it’s all your fault. I love you but AAAAAAAA. I need Zombies 4 or I’ll die, thanks.”

This fan said, “Y’all better support and love Zombies 3 a lot so we can get Zombies 4 soon.” “I don’t want it to be over! Even though they’ve already said that Z3 is the last one, I still hope that Z4 will come out soon.”

This fan just said, “I want Zombies 4.”

And finally, this fan has an idea of what they want to see in a fourth movie: “We need a Zombies 4 with more Willa and A-Spen and Addison’s blue hair without the alien clothes! I also want to see some mermaids and vampires.”
