The cast of Devil Wears Prada all set to reunite for theatre charity

Lollipop Theater Network is auctioning off the rare prize of zooming with the A-List cast —Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci aiming to bring benefit to the organisation in the 20th year.

The 10 min session will give the lucky mascot the chance to watch the cast of ‘Devil Wears Prada’ reuniting after 15 years of when the blockbuster film was released.

Lollipop Theater Network Executive Director Evelyn Iocolano said in a statement, “We are so thrilled to be celebrating our 20th anniversary with our amazing partners at Charitybuzz and the incredibly talented cast of The Devil Wears Prada”

The executive director concluded the statement saying, “We have seen the tremendous impact that these kinds of interactions have on our young patients, and now one lucky bidder will have the chance to experience it themselves, all while contributing much-needed funds to keep our programs up and running!  Here’s to the next 20 years of Lollipop!”

Streep was nostalgic about her iconic role and revealed why she was so “miserable” on set. For this particular role, Streep adopted Method Acting, a technique practised by actors to deliver the best performance.

Streep said, “It was horrible! I was [miserable] in my trailer. I could hear them all rocking and laughing.” She added “I was so depressed! I said, ‘Well, it’s the price you pay for being boss!” Furthermore, the actress confessed,
 “That’s the last time I ever attempted a Method thing.”
