Every week since its worldwide premiere, Spider-Man: No Way Home has continued to dominate the box office, steadily climbing the box office rankings while also breaking records along the way. Spidey’s third outing as a member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, directed by Jon Watts, brings the concept of the Multiverse to the forefront by bringing back multiple villains from previous films, as well as a rare team-up between the MCU hero, Tobey Maguire’s web-slinger, and Andrew Garfield’s WebCrawler.

As of right now, the film is playing in theatres all over the world, but fans are clearly looking forward to its release on home video.

When Spider-Man: No Way Home comes home, everyone is excited. Spider-Man: Homecoming will be available on digital March 22 and on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD April 12. Sony Pictures made the announcement today.

Sony has now officially put an end to the conflicting reports following a public announcement on social media channels.

Spider-Man: No Way Home’s 4K Blu-ray Release Date

Spider-Man: No Way Home has been a big hit for Sony and Marvel, both of them. One billion dollars has been earned at the international box office. It recently beat Avatar to become the third highest-grossing film in U.S. box office history, beating out The Hunger Games and The Dark Knight Rises.

New Spider-Man also features Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, and J.K. Simmons, who all reprise their roles from previous MCU films. This movie is set to be released on May 3, 2018. They also reprise their roles as bad guys in other Spider-Man movies. Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx both reprise their roles as bad guys. Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans also reprise their roles as bad guys. Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers wrote the script for Jon Watts’ third Spider-Man movie.

Sony Pictures has officially confirmed the home media release date for Spider-Man: No Way Home, which will be accompanied by an iconic meme recreation image of the three Spider-Men.

You can pre-order digital, 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD copies of Spider-Man: No Way Home now. They’ll be available on Digital March 22 and on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on April 12.

Pre-orders for the film are now being accepted.

Spider-Man: No Way Home Cast

Tom Holland will reprise his role as Peter Parker, Jacob Batalon will reprise his role as Peter’s friend Ned, and Zendaya will reprise her role as Peter’s love interest MJ. As Spider-mentor-in-chief, Man’s Benedict Cumberbatch’s Stephen Strange will appear to be taking over for Iron Man in that role, as well.

Aunt May and Happy Hogan, played by Marisa Tomei and Jon Favreau, are also returning. The first trailer also shows that Tony Revolori has returned to the role of Flash Thompson, complete with a blonde hair makeover, as we previously saw in the film.

In this installment, a wide variety of previous Spider-Man villains return to the fold. In addition to Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock, Jamie Foxx’s Electro, Rhys Ifans’ Lizard, Thomas Hayden Church’s Sandman, and Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, J.K. Simmons will make a cameo appearance as J. Jonah Jameson, just as he did in the Far From Home film series.

Given the fact that characters such as Doc Ock and Electro have already made their way into the MCU from previous Sony Spider-Man universes, it appears increasingly likely that Maguire and Garfield will appear to assist Holland’s Parker in dishing out some justice.

Finally, there have been rumours that Charlie Cox will reprise his role as Daredevil from the eponymous Netflix series, which has been gaining momentum. Previously, a report from Murphy’s Multiverse, which was later confirmed by ComicBook.com, claimed he had been spotted on set.

We’ll have to wait and see, though a casting call in February 2021 hinted that a courtroom scene was being filmed in the near future. The film’s first trailer included footage from that courtroom scene, but Cox has not yet been confirmed to appear in the film.

After denying his involvement on numerous occasions (those aren’t his forearms in the first trailer), we’ll have to wait and see if the actor is telling the truth when the film is released. The release of leaked images, which appeared on the internet in early November, appeared to confirm that he will be a member of the cast. The leaker Daniel RPK has since revealed that Cox will only appear in a single scene throughout the entire movie, which is a significant development. So you can make of it what you want.

Spider-Man: No Way Home Plot

According to the official website for the film, the official synopsis is as follows: “For the first time in Spider-cinematic Man’s history, our friendly neighborhood hero is revealed to be a Super Hero, and he is no longer able to distinguish between his everyday life and the high stakes of being a superhero. When he seeks assistance from Doctor Strange, the stakes are raised even higher, forcing him to confront the question of what it means to be Spider-Man.”

As a result, the third Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man film will deal with the ramifications of Far From Home’s conclusion. When Mysterio confronted Spidey in this episode, the superhero was accused of being a drone-controlling terrorist, and J. Jonah Jameson appeared to reveal the superhero’s secret identity as Peter Parker.

As a result, Peter appears to be facing criminal charges for allegedly murdering Mysterio. Given the fact that he will be returning to school at some point, we believe he will be found innocent (perhaps with the assistance of Matt Murdock). However, now that his secret identity has been revealed, it is only the beginning of the process of clearing his name, so to speak.

In the comics, there is also a previous form for Peter to use when requesting the assistance of magical beings.

As a result of Peter’s decision to reveal his identity in the Civil War comic series, his Aunt May was killed as a result of the decision. In an attempt to save May’s life, Peter and Mary Jane – who were already married at the time – petitioned the demon lord Mephisto to intervene. Mephisto agrees to Peter and Mary Jane’s request to end their marriage in exchange for his assistance. Mephisto, with the help of his powerful magic, changes the course of history in order to reflect these changes.

Now that two trailers have been released, we know that the controversial (and actively despised) One More Day comic storyline involving Peter’s identity and magic may be loosely adapted for the big screen in this film. Doctor Strange, rather than Mephisto, appears to be the one who will attempt to change the course of history.

In addition to comic book elements, it appears as though other elements of the storey and character arcs of No Way Home have been incorporated. When speaking with The Direct, Holland hinted that Peter Parker’s “dark side” might be explored in the MCU threequel. “There’s something that happens in this film which I think fans will be very shocked by,” Holland said. “It’s something that I loved bringing to the screen and that I think fans will be very excited about.”

As for the villains, we’ll only be getting a quintet rather than the Sinister Six, but that’s fine with us. The film already has a sufficient number of characters, and aside from the appearances of Garfield, Maguire, and Cox, it does not require the inclusion of any additional characters, heroes or villains.

When it comes to the villains’ roles in the proceedings, it appears that the Green Goblin will be the film’s primary adversary. Indeed, Holland has been heavily teasing the possibility of a confrontation between his Spider-Man and Green Goblin, telling Collider that the two characters will engage in “a truly epic battle.”

When he was asked about his fight scene with the Goblin, he admitted that he “busted my hand up.” “Even though my knuckles were bloodied, we were ready to go all out. We were pouring our hearts and souls into it. Moreover, I recall that on the final day of filming that fight scene, when John called for a cut, Willem and I both collapsed to the floor from exhaustion.”

According to rumours, the Green Goblin will be the one who persuades Peter to intervene and prevent Doctor Strange from sending them back to their respective realities. Why? In their respective universes, each villain is brought to justice by their respective Spider-Man. In addition, they have been pulled out of their timelines just before their deaths, so it is clear that they do not wish to come back and be killed a second time.

A magical box belonging to Strange is stolen by Peter, who will undoubtedly feel that their plight mirrors his own – he will be given a second chance when he is likely found not guilty of allegedly murdering Mysterio – in the second trailer. Peter attempts to steal the magical box from Strange. We believe that this item holds the key to keeping the villains locked up (after Strange has rounded them up and sent them back to their respective worlds), and that Peter’s theft of the item will allow them to escape and wreak havoc across the MCU’s version of New York City.

The exact method they’ll use is unclear – we’ve heard rumors but won’t share them here in case they contain major spoilers – but it appears that the film’s final showdown will pit them all against Spider-Man. Or Spider-Men, if you believe the rumors about Garfield and Maguire’s return to the franchise.

In any case, it appears that we will be treated to some violent action sequences in No Way Home. Holland discussed the film with TV Globo, according to ComicBook.com, and said the following: “This film contains some extremely violent fight scenes, which are depicted in the trailer. In addition, it’s a different fighting style from anything we’ve seen before. However, you will see Spider-Man use his fists in a ‘fight or flight’ situation, which is a first for the character.”

There’s also a strong possibility that Spider-Man: No Way Home pays homage to Sam Raimi, who directed Maguire’s Spider-Man trilogy. “I think what Jon Watts did really well is [what he would call] the ‘Raimi Cam,'” Holland said in an interview with Den of Geek. As well as doing these really quick, smash push-ins on characters, which I believe was something Sam Raimi was quite well-known for. As a result, Jon definitely showed his appreciation for the previous two films.”
