Omar Jeffery Pineiro was born on May 15, 1997, in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Miami, Florida, when he was three years old.
He started using marijuana when he was eight years old and was using Xanax by the time he was sixteen. In his senior year, he dropped out of school to dedicate more attention to music, and he began writing his own songs at that time.
In a prior interview, he stated that the neighbourhood where he grew up was hostile and rife with illicit activity and violence.
Pineiro began his career in music as a producer, a passion he pursued out of boredom. He had a big influence on Lil Pump’s choice to start rapping while doing so.
After no one would buy his created instrumentals, Pineiro began rapping.
When several of his recordings found fame on the audio streaming platform SoundCloud, he dropped out of high school in his senior year. Because the original recording was of poor quality, he quickly erased it and replaced it with his second song, “Live Off a Lick.”
