Sex Education season 4 release date

Season 4 of Sex Education will start in September 2021. Season 3 was announced in February 2020, and it didn’t start until September of the following year. This is a pretty long time, but the pandemic was a big reason for the delay.

We could look at season 2, which was renewed in February 2019 and came out in January 2020, to get a better idea of when this might happen. Using the same time frame, that would mean that season 4 could come out as early as September 2022, but since filming hasn’t even started yet, that seems very unlikely. Keep your eyes open for more information about that.

When is season 4 coming to Netflix?

In any case, season 4 of Sex Education is coming to Netflix, but the company hasn’t said when.

We do know that new episodes started filming on July 4, 2022, which was confirmed by a recent production listing, so we don’t expect the fourth season to come out this year. Since the first and second seasons of the show both came out in January, we think the new run will come out in the first half of 2023.

Still, we’re glad to hear that Sex Education will be back, even if there are only so many years that Moordale’s students can stay at the fake school before it doesn’t make sense for them to keep roaming the classrooms as twenty-somethings about to go to college.

We’ll share more information about season 4 as we get it. For now, everything we know is in a single place. Check out our list of the best Netflix TV shows and our breakdown of Stranger Things season 4 and how it tries to beat Squid Game in viewership.

Sex Education Season 4 Plot

As you may be aware, season 3 ended on an intriguing cliffhanger with a lot of unfinished business. It only makes natural that Sex Education Season 4 would pick up where the previous season left off. You never know, but Sex Education has always been the one with lots of surprises.

There are no precise plotlines that the audience may anticipate because the filming has not yet begun. Nevertheless, there are a lot of disturbing concerns that the upcoming season will need to address, and the audience can expect a wild trip. What will become of Otis and Maeve? Will they remain partners or will their romance fail? Will the viewers learn who the baby’s father is? What will transpire with Moordale High?

This school has served as the setting for most of the last three seasons’ filming. What occurs when the characters earn their degrees? After that, will the series still be engaging?

Is the cast of Sex Education Season 4 the same?

Main characters like Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield), Maeve Wiley (Emma Mackey), Eric Effiong (Ncuti Bawa), Dr. Jean Milburn (Gillian Anderson), Jackson Marchetti (Kedar Williams Stirling), Adam Groff (Connor Swindells), Aimee Gibbs (Aimee Lou Wood), and Michael Groff (Alistair Petrie) are likely to be back for the next season.

Sex Education Season 4 is also expected to bring back some other cast members. Ruby Matthews (Mimi Keene), Anwar (Chanel Kunar), Viv Odusanya (Chinenye Ezeudu), Ola Nyman (Patricia Allison), Maureen Groff (Samantha Spiro), Lily Iglehart (Tanya Reynolds), and Jakob Nyman are their names (Mikael Persbrandt).

Can people look forward to meeting new people in Sex Education Season 4?

Of course, yes! One of the show’s writers, Krishna Istha, put out a casting call on Twitter for a trans couple named Abhi and Kent, who are called “the ultimate power couple.” But the actors who will play them haven’t been chosen yet. At least two new characters will join the show.

Sex Education is a British coming-of-age drama about a high school student named Otis. He isn’t very good with people and doesn’t have a lot of dates, but when it comes to giving people sex advice, he is surprisingly wise and right. His mom, Dr. Jean Milburn, who is a sex therapist, is partly responsible for this.

It has been on Netflix for three seasons, and the fourth season will come out in 2023.
