Since the first film, 2004’s Saw, launched the franchise, the cumulative box office for all of the films is well over $1 billion.
Moviegoers watch as Jigsaw, the film’s antagonist, sets deadly traps for his victims in an effort to instill in them a desire to maintain their own lives. After the success of Darren Bousman’s Spiral: From the Book of Saw, fans have been considering the possibility of additional stories set in the Saw universe.
The spin-off sequel starred Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson, Marisol Nichols, and Max Minghella. It was about how the police tried to stop a fake Jigsaw.
Since then, Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures have reunited to produce Saw 10, the tenth instalment in the horror franchise, with Kevin Greutert attached to direct.
When Can We Expect Saw 10 To Be Released?

Lionsgate has announced that Saw 10 will be released on October 27, 2023, just in time for Halloween. Josh Stolberg pens the script, and Kevin Greutert, director of Saw VI and Saw: The Final Chapter and editor of the first films, will be at the helm.
Is There A Trailor For Saw 10?
The plot of the newest film has been kept under wraps, and there is no trailer available just yet.
However, producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules told Bloody Disgusting, “We have been listening to what the fans have been asking for and are hard at work planning a movie that Saw aficionados and horror fans alike will love.”
And a big part of that is turning things over to Kevin Greutert, the man behind the camera for Saw VI and still a fan favorite. In addition, Stolberg has dropped hints in the past about a possible comeback for the fan-favorite character Jigsaw.
Fans were also promised “new twisted, ingenious traps” by the studio.
More About Saw

The Saw franchise, developed by James Wan and Leigh Whannell of Australia, consists of a total of nine films and various other forms of media. The first eight movies focus on the serial killer John “Jigsaw” Kramer, while the ninth movie, while continuing the series’ continuity, follows a killer who mimics Kramer’s style.
John Kramer made a brief appearance in Saw and then was given more screen time in Saw II and the sequels that followed. Instead of simply killing his victims, he subjects them to torturous “tests” or “games,” hoping that those who can withstand his or her mental and/or physical abuse will be “rehabilitated” if they survive. Even though Kramer died in Saw III, his character has been explored in later films through flashbacks and the focus has been on his influence after he died, especially on his apprentices.
Darren Bousman’s Untitled Saw 10 Revamp

With its $40 million worldwide gross in 2016, Spiral: From the Book of Saw breathed new life into the Saw franchise and set the stage for future installments. According to an exclusive report from Bloody Disgusting, Kevin Greutert has been tapped to direct the next Saw film. And it will be available to the public on October 27, 2023!
Kevin Greutert, like Bousman, has seen all of the Saw movies. Greutert has directed the horror films Saw VI (2009), Saw: The Final Chapter (2010), Jessabelle (2014), and Jackals (2017). Saw I–V and Jigsaw were also under his editorial watch.
For now, Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures are keeping quiet about the movie’s plot and characters, but we’ve been told that the new movie will capture fans’ hearts (and other organs) with brand-new, clever traps and a new mystery to solve.
