Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter Lilibet is subsequently added to the official line of succession

After several backlashes, the royal palace has finally added Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter Lilibet to the line of succession.

It was reported earlier this year that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided to step down from their position as senior royals and are now raising their children in California. The duo has been since openly talking about the mistreatment and racism they faced within close doors of Buckingham Palace. Though they are no longer working royals, their children are still very much royals.

With the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan’s daughter Lilibet Diana, royals watchers and their fans were certainly extremely curious how the newest addition to the family would be treated. When the princess’s name was not added to the official line of succession even after two months of her birth, the royal palace, as well as the family, received severe backlash.

Now, the list has finally been updated and the princess’s name was added on July 26. The Royal reporter Omid Scobie tweeted, ” The line of succession on the @RoyalFamily website has just been updated to include the Sussexes’ second child: Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor, who is eighth in line to the throne. She was born on June 4.”

Lilibet Diana is currently in eighth place in this list of succession, right after her brother Archie and Prince Harry is sixth in line to the throne.

However, many people who watch and admire the royal family were upset as it took them a long amount of time to add the princess’s name to the list, as it really doesn’t take that much time to add a name and it certainly doesn’t take two months.
