Outlander Season 6 episode 7 promo preview:

As if that wasn’t enough, the show’s official commercial for Episode 7 reveals a lot about what’s to come. Claire finds herself in a difficult position following the events of the last episode. All fingers of suspicion point to her, given her, bloodied hands and the fact that she was discovered near the body of Malva.

In the teaser, we see Tom blaming her in front of Jamie. Other residents of the community are similarly wary of her. Everyone has seen her at the scene covered in blood to her elbows, so it makes sense.

Even though Jamie is standing up for his wife, he understands how serious this issue is. What is Claire’s plan of escape from this predicament?

Additionally, Malva’s murder is ambiguous and mysterious. If it’s not Claire, then who is the true killer? Is it possible that we will uncover the identity of the person who killed her? Some of these issues will be addressed in the upcoming episode. Malva’s child is likewise dead, along with her. This instils a palpable sense of unease and dread across the ridge.

An already tumultuous period was exacerbated by the dysentery outbreak. In the trailer, Claire wonders who did this, and we do, too. They will find out who this person is, says Jamie.

Hopefully they can catch the murderer before anything worse happens. Claire, on the other hand, needs to face up to her ether addiction, which she has been using to cope.

What happened on Outlander Season 6 Episode 6?

S6E6 “The World Turned Upside Down” brought viewers to some extremely dark depths until its final heartbreaking moments. Roger gives a sermon, and then he tells Claire and Jamie he hasn’t seen the MacNeill’s in a while.

After Brianna (Sophie Skelton) leaves, Claire, Lizzie, and Malva retire to their cabin. The family wasn’t dead, as the promo said. Instead, we see a family die in front of our eyes.

A bloody flow created by an amoeba, which Claire shows Malva under a microscope. However, Claire’s homegrown penicillin won’t work against amoebic dysentery. Jamie sets out to solve the issue, which is usually dirty water (he later discovers a dead elk in the river upstream).

Claire gets sick as more of the Ridge inhabitants die. Malva remains at the huge home, consoling Jamie with willow bark tea. Claire has been accused of being a witch previously, according to Malva. With that sneaky grin she has, she tells Jamie she thinks he’s a wonderful gentleman.

Claire has feverish hallucinations of a serpent, storm clouds, a heart, and an amoeba. Then she spots Jamie near the window, swigging from a whisky bottle, and Malva approaches him, stroking his shoulder. Claire slumbers again.

A week later, Claire wakes up to find her hair shaved off by Malva and Mrs Bug (Malva totally has no ulterior motives for this move). Despite her unlucky haircut, she and the settlers are recovering. Brianna hurries in, eager to tell her mother she’s pregnant.

Claire and Tom Christie, who had also taken ill, experienced no flux, only fever, headache, and hallucinations. Strange…

The Christies emerge just as Jamie is about to go to the colonists’ Provincial Congress to discuss action against England. She’s expecting and claims Jamie’s father. Claire didn’t expect Malva to approach Jamie at the window when she was sick, but Jamie says he did. Claire smacks Malva and exits the room. Can she possible assume Jamie was unfaithful?

Claire nearly appears to think Jamie slept with Malva since she saw them at the window, but she says she believes him, especially because he hasn’t turned his back on his kid. But Jamie reveals he didn’t inform her about his “unfaithful” relationship with her 20 years ago! He slept with Mary MacNab in the cave in Season 3 when he and Claire were away.

Claire wishes he’d informed her sooner, but she’d just returned 200 years in time to see her former husband, Frank. Apart from having a child with another woman (William) and marrying another woman (Laoghaire, Marsali’s mother) during that time, both of which Claire knows about.

Claire faces the village’s disdain as Jamie goes for the assembly. Ian tells Claire he fathered the kid with Malva. But Roger informed Claire she was canoodling with Mr Henderson, so it appears there are other options.

Claire’s hair has grown back into a lovely haircut, reminiscent of her 1940s style from Season 1. What follows is the episode’s strongest and most distressing section. Clair thinks Malva appears to her, labelling her “of the devil,” ugly, and elderly. Aside from their child, she claims Jamie.

Claire brandishes a knife. She wakes up later and walks out to the garden, only to discover Malva dead, her neck cut. In an attempt to preserve the infant, Claire performs an emergency C-section. Will Claire be able to explain Malva’s mutilation? Claire is in trouble.
