Outer Banks, one of Netflix’s most talked-about dramas, is back in production, and we can’t wait to visit Poguelandia once again. The programme got renewed for a third season only a few months after the conclusion of Outer Banks Season 2 last summer, thanks to our beloved Pogues. TV Guide will keep you up to speed on John B. (Chase Stokes) and his crew’s newest exploits as we wait for the next episode of OBX to air.
“Pogues,” as John B. characterises them, are a group of teenagers from the working class and “the lowest member of the food chain” in North Carolina. “Kooks” – the town’s rich elite — confront John B and his pals as they go on a mission to find out what really happened to his father, who mysteriously vanished.
‘Outer Banks’ Season 1 began on April 20, 2020 with Season 2 following on July 30, 2021. Here’s what we know thus far regarding the third season of Outer Banks:
Latest News 2022: As of Feb. 28, Outer Banks’ official Instagram and Facebook pages posted pictures to show that the third season of the show has begun.

Hopefully, this isn’t the last time we see the show.
Outer Banks creator Jonas Pate has previously hinted that the show may continue for another four or five seasons, but Netflix ultimately has the last say.The first season premiered in April 2020, and the second came out at the end of July 2021, a gap of little over a year between the two.
Season three has yet to begin production, so we expect it in the summer of 2022 at the very latest.
‘Outer Banks’ cast spotted traveling to shoot
Outer Banks’s social media followers have noticed that the cast members have begun posting pictures from their vacations. In Barbados for filming, some fan accounts have produced collages of the cast members.
While travelling, a fan noticed Chase Stokes with the singer (via Instagram). With the title “JOHN B IS BACK!,” another admirer posted a video of him with the actor. A member of the OBX3 crew, Chase Stokes may be found in Barbados.
Her character Carla Limbrey has also been spotted on social media checking into Barbados while filming. In an Instagram Stories picture, she remarked, “Here we go again.” “Jetlagged. Thank you very much. A trip to the shore is in order.
Outer Banks star Jonathan Daviss’ father also took to Instagram to post pictures with the actors. With the message “I take the best selfies!!!!” he posted on a photo taken at a pizza on February 13, 2022, with his son, Stokes, and several of the cast members. In other words, “Pizza and Heaven.”
‘Outer Banks’ director shares a post about season 3 filming right now
“Big love to my @obx family as they start filming Season 3 tomorrow!!!!” That’s what Valerie Weiss wrote on Instagram on Feb. 13, 2022. “We’ll see each other soon.”
It was not a big surprise when Weiss said that filming would start sometime in February 2022. Now that filming has begun, fans want to know when it will be over, because that means they are one step closer to the next season.
Season 2 of “Outer Banks” contains spoilers.
The much-anticipated second season of “Outer Banks,” the action-packed adventure series set on the stunning coast of North Carolina, has finally been published on Netflix. They’re all looking for the Royal Merchant Ship, which history says has buried wealth on board, and the show follows the Pogues as they go on the hunt for it with their friends John B (Chase Stokes), Sarah Cameron (Madelyn Cline), Kiara (Madison Bailey), and JJ (Rudy Pankow). An all-out battle between the Pogues and their wealthier competitors, The Kooks, ensues as they both search for treasure and retain their lowly existence.
Cliffhangers abound in “Outer Banks” Season 1. After a near escape from the OBX, John B and Sarah were assumed dead and fled to the Bahamas. The Pogues are also trying to clear John B’s name in addition to hunting for the riches. It was Ward Cameron (Charles Esten), Sarah’s father and the series’ antagonist, who framed the de facto ringleader for the killing of the local sheriff. Rather than taking responsibility for the killing, Rafe (Drew Starkey) is willing to let the Pogue family member take the blame.
Season 2 resolves lingering cliffhangers and raises new ones.
It was revealed in Season 2 of “Outer Banks” that Sarah and John B made it through their stormy adventure alive. The pair reunites with the Pogues to complete their quest for the Cross of Santo Domingo and clear John B’s name. In the second season, a seven-foot gold and jewel-encrusted crucifix was introduced, which mythology claims carries a mystical healing robe. There are rumours that the cross is worth tens of millions of dollars, but the actual wealth is concealed behind a lock that Pope’s family, direct descendants of Denmark Tanney, have the only key to.
There were also a lot of fresh faces revealed on the broadcast. After helping Sarah and John B escape the Bahamas, Cleo (Carlacia Grant) joined the Pogues as the group’s sixth member. Carla Limbrey is Ward’s other adversary (Elizabeth Mitchell). Limbrey is in a race against time to get her hands on the cross and the healing garment before she succumbs to an illness she has no idea about.
