Offset reveals he took wifey Cardi B to a Super Bowl game for their first date

On Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, rapper Offset revealed to guest host Anthony Anderson about his and Cardi B’s first date all the way back in February of 2017!

He began by telling host Anderson that for their first date, “I went big, I wanted to do something that was not normally done, you know what I’m saying? I wanted to have fun … so I took her to the Super Bowl.”

After his, this statement the studio along with Anderson erupted in laughter. Anderson then asked the Migos member which Super Bowl did he take her exactly, to which he replied he did not remember. However, he did recollect that his team Atlanta Falcons was up against New England Patriots.

Cardi B also opened up about their first date a long time ago to GQ and stated that “I told my publicist to tell him, because I was very shy, ‘Listen, if we gonna go on a public date together, you cannot make me look like a dumbass after this,'” Cardi said. “And he was like, ‘No, I really like her. I’m really feeling her.’ We was talking, we were making out. We didn’t f—.”

Cardi also mentioned how things got serious after their Super Bowl date “After the Super Bowl, it got really serious because I feel, like, all eyes on us,” she told GQ. In October 2017, the couple got engaged. But Cardi and Offset had previously wed a month prior in September, a marriage certificate for the duo confirmed.

The couple welcomed their first child a daughter, Kulture Kiari, in July 2018, and are now expecting a second child later this year.

During his appearance on the late-night show, Offset also mentioned how he and Cardi love to spoil each other with expensive gifts. Anderson asked Offset he was going to gift Cardi B a lavish gift after the birth of their second child.

To which the rapper replied, “I feel like the gift is the beautiful child,” Offset explained as Anderson agreed with him.  He also quickly added, “I’m gonna get her a gift though.”
