Fans have been waiting for the next Jordan Peele movie since his second movie, “Us,” which came out in 2019 and broke records at the box office. Peele has taken over Hollywood since his first movie, Get Out, became a cultural phenomenon. Lately, he’s been producing hit shows and movies, like Lovecraft Country, The Twilight Zone, and the upcoming Candyman.
Now, four years after Get Out, Peele is bringing back the breakout star of that movie, Daniel Kaluuya, for his next movie, Nope, which is sure to break box office records. The first, mysterious trailer (see above) shows that Kaluuya and Keke Palmer will play the owners of a Black-owned ranch who have a close encounter with the supernatural.
Here is what we know so far about Nope.

Nope Release Date Information
Peele told people on social media about the name and release date of his third movie by tweeting a picture of the movie’s mysterious poster. The artwork shows that Nope will only be in theatres on July 22, 2022, which is exactly one year after it was announced. Peele didn’t add any other information, and the only thing in the caption was a cloud emoji that looked like the cloud on the poster.

The full cast list includes:

- Keke Palmer as Jill Haywood
- Steven Yuen as Brian

Plot Of Nope
As expected, Peele has kept most of the important parts of Nope a secret, including the basic plot. Even the tagline doesn’t say much.
It just says, “A new fear from the mind of Oscar winner Jordan Peele.” Still, the movie poster and the director’s previous work in the horror genre show that Nope will be a treasure trove of shocks, so viewers will need to pay close attention to the clues.
If you like to guess, the cloud emoji in the tweet that was sent out is the first clue we have. You can’t tell what this symbol means for the movie to come.
Not to mention that the book’s title, “Nope,” could also be a clue. The Hollywood Reporter said in 2017 that Peele was working on another “social thriller” like Get Out.
In an episode of Variety’s Playback Podcast, the director said that he wants each of his social thrillers to be about a different kind of monster.
I’d like to keep writing in this style. I was also working on four other projects that I call “social thrillers” while I was making “Get Out.” Each one is supposed to deal with a different kind of human demon, or a monster that lies beneath the surface of how we humans relate to each other.
I hope to direct another one of these social thrillers soon. This one won’t be about race, but it will be cinematic and entertaining… To make the perfect monster for a scary movie, all we have to do is look at the monster inside each of us. Not so much a single psychopath, but the humanity that gets lost in the spaces between us.
Spoilers Of Nope
trailer, there are no hints that could give away anything about the movie. It thought that “Nope” was a sequel to the horror movie “Get Out” because Daniel Kaluuya was in both movies.
It shows a dark area with a round blue cloud that has the flag inside of it. If the poster makes you feel creepy, you can be sure that the movie will be very scary.
