Madeline Brewer thanks ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ and her character ‘Janine Lindo’, for being nominated by the Emmys 2021

Madeline Brewer, very well renowned as ‘Janine Lindo’ from Hulu’s ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ has bagged her very first Emmy Awards nomination for ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series’ this year.

Taking to Instagram on July 14, the actress expressed her gratefulness and warm regards to the tragedy series that helped her achieve this milestone, along with her costar friends, tagging all of them with a heartfelt message that reads, “Still attempting to process. Thank you @televisionacad thank you @handmaidsonhulu thank you Janine Lindo. Congratulations to my dearest friends @otfagbenle @maxminghella @whododatlikedat @yvonnestrahovski Bradley, Ann, Alexis, @mckennagraceful and our leader @elisabethmossofficial what an immense honour oh my my my my my.”

Madeline was indeed a great support to June Osborne as her dearest handmaid friend Janine Lindo, who together plan an epic escape from the traumatic land of Gilead and the Waterfords, with June finding solace in her newly found home in Canada, finally free from the totalitarian shackles and forced handmaid life, getting enough to reconnect with Luke, Moira, Nichole, Emily, and Rita.

‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ is a dystopian tragedy drama series set in the American era of the Second Civil War, a brilliant adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s novel of the same name.
