Kevin McCarthy is a wealthy politician from the United States. From December 2002 to November 2006, he represented California’s 32nd legislative district as a Republican. McCarthy next served as Minority Leader of the California State Assembly from January 2004 to April 2006 and as House Republican Chief Deputy Whip from January 2009 to January 2011.
Kevin was elected to the United States House of Representatives in January 2007 from California’s 22nd congressional district; in 2013, he will represent the 23rd district, and in 2023, he will represent the 20th district. McCarthy served as House Majority Whip from January 2011 to August 2014, and then as House Majority Leader from August 2014 until January 2019.
From January 2019 to January 2023, Kevin was the House Minority Leader, as well as the head of the Young Republican National Federation and the California Young Republicans. He and Eric Cantor co-wrote the book “Young Guns: A New Generation of Conservative Leaders,” which was published in 2010.

How Many Kids Does Kevin And Judy Have?
The couple had their first child, a son named Connor McCarthy, not long after they married. Judy gave birth to another child, Meghan, two years later.
As a reward for his academic successes, Kevin welcomed Connor to several White House events while he was a student at Georgetown University, including a state luncheon honoring Japan in 2015.
“I took him to dinner last night and said, ‘I have this thing at the White House, do you want to go?'” he remarked at the time, according to The Hill. He is in the midst of his final exam week. I was concerned that he hadn’t completed his job.
Kevin’s son married six years after the announcement. In an Instagram video posted in December 2020, the former Speaker stated that Connor had married the “love of his life.”
